Inspection & Testing
Verify the Exact Unit Before You Buy
For used and refurbished machinery, the condition of the individual machine matters. Ask for available identification records, current photos, running videos and agreed inspection arrangements.
Evidence before purchase
Know What the Records Can Prove
Unit identification
Match the engine, alternator and package identification to the exact equipment offered. A model name or reference image is not a unit identity.
Operating-hour sources
An ECM reading, an hour-meter photograph and a refurbishment record are different sources. A replacement or donor ECM does not establish original lifetime hours.
Scope agreed per unit
Load-test availability, timing, cost and acceptance criteria are agreed for the specific unit and order. Unverified operating hours remain unverified.
Build a useful request
Ask for the Available Unit File
- Current photographs and legible nameplates
- Available hour records and their sources
- Known condition, defects and disclosed refurbishment
- Running video or inspection arrangements, where available
- Agreed test scope and acceptance criteria before payment
